Motor gasoline's, jet fuel, naphtha and similar hydrocarbons are mostly defined by their maximum final boiling point. Definition of the distillation curve is therefore an important parameter in process control and blending process of refineries. The DPA can determine any point on de distillation curve on semi continue basis by which the recovery point temperature of the vapor phase is compared with the distillation volume or vice-versa.

To measure:

•  Initial boiling point (IBP)
•  Final boiling point (FBP)
•  End Point (EP)
•  Temperature @ % recovered
•  % Recovered @ temperature
•  Loss volume minus total recovered volume
